Residence Dining

If you live in residence, the Weekly 19 Meal Plan is included in your residence fees. As part of the residence experience, the meal plan provides students with a ‘kitchen table’ where they can gather for fresh-made meals without worrying about meal balances or budgeting. Hospitality Services supports our community and environment by purchasing local, wherever possible, and using fresh whole foods in globally inspired recipes as part of a 5-week residence dining hall menu cycle.

Your 2025/26 Residence Weekly 19 Meal Plan includes

19 weekly dining hall meals

Eat in your choice of three All-You-Care-To-Eat dining halls. Weekly meals reset to 19 every Monday at 12:01 a.m. Unused meals per week do not carry over. The plan also includes five guest passes, which allow a friend or guest to join you in the dining hall for an All-You-Care-To-Eat dining hall meal for just $5.

175 Trade a Meals (TAM)

The “Trade a Meal” (TAM) option provides students the flexibility to choose to trade a dining hall meal for a fixed combo in select retail food locations on campus. Redeemed TAMS are deducted from the Weekly 19 Meal Plan and can be used up to twice a day, to a maximum of 175 times for the academic year.

For optimal value and variety, we encourage students to access the dining hall for All-You-Care-To-Eat meals using swipes from the Weekly 19 Meal Plan. TAM offerings may be limited in selection and fixed in portion sizes. Available TAM combos may be subject to change at any time.

145 Flex $

Flex $ works like cash loaded onto your student card to provide additional flexibility for purchasing snack items or single menu items between meals. The cashier swipes your card, and the purchase amount is deducted from your Flex $ balance. You can add more Flex $ to your card at any time and in any denomination through the

Auto-enrollment into the GOOD TO GO Reusable Container Initiative

Students on the residence meal plan are automatically enrolled in the GOOD TO GO reusable container initiative, which helps divert single-use packaging waste when dining in retail food locations – where takeout packaging is most prevalent. Dining halls are dine-in only; therefore, they do not use GOOD TO GO containers, with the exception of select EXPRESS To-Go meals that are exclusively available by request from the cashier.

A green carabiner clip is supplied at the time of move-in. Bring your carabiner to a food counter at participating retail food locations on campus and join in on the sustainable swap and exchange of carabiners to help reduce single-use packaging from retail locations and save the $0.75 single-use fee on select takeout containers.

My Balance | Add Flex $

Check your Flex $, TAM, and meal swipe balances and top up Flex $ online through the Student Residence & Dining Portal.
