GVCA calls for submissions for 2023 Context & Meaning conference
The Graduate Visual Culture Association (GVCA) is calling for papers ahead of the annual graduate research conference, . The 2023 conference is on the theme of "Scandal", exploring the intersections of art and scandal throughout history. The conference will happen in a hybrid format from February 2-4, 2023.

M.A.C. candidates welcomed into NGC's Conservation Internship Program for Diversity
A big congratulations to Art Conservation students Carl Magarro, Doris Fuller Ruiz, and John Habib, who have all been selected by the National Gallery of Canada for its ! The M.A.C. candidates will take part in the 12-week internship, working alongside experienced conservators.
Queen's University mourns Isabel Bader
The Department of Art History & Art Conservation remembers Isabel Bader (LLD '07), who passed away on Sunday. Along with her late husband, Alfred Bader, Isabel was known for her generosity to the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community. Their Bader Collection -- a donation of over 500 artworks -- included four paintings by Rembrandt, and the Bader name graces the College at Herstmonceux Castle, and Kingston's waterfront Centre for the Performing Arts.
