The Safety Technician (Radiation and Chemical) is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the radiation safety program, including open and sealed sources, x-rays, and lasers. They are also involved in the chemical safety program.
The Safety Technician (Radiation and Chemical) performs radiation laboratory inspections, maintains records related to the radiation safety program, and assists with the development of radiation and chemical safety SOPs.
The Safety Technician (Radiation and Chemical) is also a member of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø HAZMAT Team.
