SDG Month Canada is a national collaboration that invites universities and colleges to organize workshops, panels, and interactive programming to increase awareness of and engagement with the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Led by , Colleges and Institutes Canada, and UBC’s Office of Sustainability, events are organized independently by participating campuses and meant to draw on diverse disciplinary perspectives to unpack challenges and solutions related to advancing the SDGs.
At Queen’s, the Principal’s Office organizes an SDG Month at Queen’s Event Calendar to promote learning, teaching, and networking opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and alumni during the month. Anyone planning an SDG-related event or activity at Queen’s in March is invited to submit the details to be included in the event listings below.

2025 Feature Event - UN SDG Career Guide Launch: Work with Impact Alumni Panel & Reception
Students were invited to discover how Queen’s alumni are driving change and having an impact through careers aligned with the SDGs. This panel discussion highlighted inspiring stories, insights into professional journeys, and practical strategies for creating social impact through a meaningful career.

is Canada’s national conference, in Calgary, on May 26 - 27, 2025, devoted to tracking progress on the UN SDGs. The conference represents an all-of-society approach to addressing Canada’s toughest sustainable development challenges, bringing together the private sector, academia, government, and civil society.
The theme of this year's conference is: Collective Action for a Sustainable Future: Collaboration Across Generations, Sectors and Knowledge System
