Each workshop will lead you through one of the five required modules of the PUTL.
Workshop II: Practical 91ºÚÁÏÍø
Wednesday, November 27, 2019; 2:00 - 4:00pm; Robert Sutherland Hall, Room 202
Facilitated by Andrea Reid, Centre for Teaching and Learning; and Yasmine Djerbal and Nevena Martinovic, Faculty of Arts and Science
This workshop will help you recognize the practical teaching experiences you have gained throughout your graduate career. In this workshop, we will help you identify and demonstrate your practical teaching experience, focusing particularly on how to collect and present feedback. Collecting evidence of teaching experience is an essential component of any successful dossier, and can demonstrate the success with which you put your teaching philosophy into practice. This workshop will provide you with the information necessary to obtain a variety of formal and informal feedback from students, peers, and employers that can be included in a teaching dossier.
