Dr. Garnette R. Sutherland, MSc, MD, FRCPC - Professor of Neurosurgery, University of Calgary
"What next....? The Nuances of Innovation in Medicine"
91ºÚÁÏÍø is hosting a lecture by Dr Sutherland, who has successfully brought innovative imaging and robotic imaging to the operating room.
Dr Sutherland will show you how modern-day surgery employs space-age tools and sophisticated image guidance to more safely and accurately treat many diseases.He has developed a neuroArm to better resect tumours from the brain. Gain insight into why Queen's is excited about bringing new technologies to improve patient care and also new concepts to our faculty and students,
It is so important that the public appreciate and understand the future role of science and innovation in developing these new treatment concepts for health care worldwide.
