    Description:

"Friends, Neighbo(u)rs and Allies - the Canada-US relationship in a (not so) COOL perspective"

Canada and the United States share the world's largest trading relationship. It is a relationship that has provided continued prosperity and economic growth for both Canada and the United States. But what happens when that relationship is broken? Using COOL (Country of Origin Labeling) as an example, Jamshed Merchant, former Canadian Consul General in Minneapolis will discuss the importance of having a coherent and rigorous Canadian political and policy approach to address and resolve problems in Canada's trading relationship with the United States.
