Are you a graduate student or post-doc thinking about applying for faculty jobs in the near future? Need to build a teaching dossier? The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is offering a series of workshops that will help you complete the Certificate in Professional Development in University Teaching and Learning (PUTL), which is geared toward developing the elements required for a teaching dossier. Each workshop will lead you through one of the five required modules of the PUTL.

Session Description

This workshop will introduce you to the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), which is the research and investigation of questions and problems concerning university teaching and learning. We will help you in this process by helping you identify an area of interest, barrier, or dilemma in university teaching and learning within your specific academic discipline. The intention of this workshop is to help you in your development of a focused research question based on a specific interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
