Deanna serves as the Executive Director, Advancement Operations, where she leads a multifaceted team supporting the university’s advancement efforts in development and strategic engagement. Her portfolio includes oversight of Finance & Gift Services, Human Resources, Information Services, and Prospect Research, all critical to the university’s mission.
With over 25 years of progressive experience across higher education, healthcare, hospitality, and entertainment sectors, Deanna brings a wealth of expertise in finance, strategic planning, and talent management to her role. Her commitment to sound fiscal management, effective operational planning, and resource optimization supports Queen’s University as one of Canada’s leading research-intensive institutions.
Deanna holds an MBA from Laurentian University, a CPA designation from CPA Ontario, and multiple certifications in leadership development and self-awareness tools. Her dedication to fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration empowers her team to deliver impactful results for Queen’s Advancement.
